The College of Health Studies is a Career College located in Brampton Ontario, offering various health and beauty-related certificate courses for healthcare professionals, prospective students in advanced medical aesthetics, and RN’s/RPN’s courses in basic and advanced nursing foot care. Other courses include the Personal Support Worker Pharmacology certificate program, Holistic Health Practitioner Diploma, Nutrition and Diet therapy, Nurse Psychotherapist Certificate, Botox and Dermal Filler program, Mental Health and Addictions Counselling Diploma, and various post RN nursing courses.
Our Holistic Health Practitioner, Advanced Medical Aesthetics, and Nutrition and Diet therapy diploma programs are recognized and accredited by the National Association of Holistic Health Practitioners–NAHHP–a recognized holistic health association licensing spa practitioners, aesthetics, medical aesthetics, and holistic health practitioners who wish to open a spa or holistic health business.
Our Advanced Nursing Foot Care certificate program is the only Advanced Foot care Nurse Certification that is accredited by the Foot care Nurse Certification Board (FCNCB), and includes the Foot Care Nurse Certification Board Advanced Foot care nurse certified foot care nurse CFCN competency exam.
Our Botox and Dermal Filler Certificate course is fully accredited by the Cosmetic Nurse Injector Group and include the CCNI competency exam by the Cosmetic Nurse Injector Group.
Our Nurse Psychotherapist Certification program is accredited by the Canadian Nurse Psychotherapist Association
Our Nutrition and Diet Therapy Diploma, Mental Health and Addictions Counselling Diploma, and Holistic Health Practitioner Diploma are fully accredited by the National Association of Holistic Health Practitioners(NAHHP).
As a result of program accreditation, upon completion of any of the above listed programs, students will be eligible to become licensed members with the National Association of Holistic Health Practitioners–NAHHP, for 1 year only.
In being a member of NAHHP, the student can setup their aesthetics spa business and obtain licensure to setup their spa or holistic spa business with their respective cities.
NAHHP is recognized by various jurisdictions in Canada, including the city of Toronto, as one of the listed, recognized holistic health associations, licensing aesthetics, holistic health practitioners, and spa practitioners in the aesthetic and spa industry.
Students upon completion of the holistic health practitioner training program, medical aesthetics, advanced medical aesthetics, cosmetic laser, diabetic foot care specialist, Nutrition and Diet Therapy Diploma with Basic and Advanced Diabetic Foot Care will be able to obtain preferred rates with malpractice and liability insurance rates with Holman Insurance or Holisticinsurance.ca.
